In the busy streets of Bangalore we came across people who had a simple dressing sense but which had a great cultural heritage behind it …and these clothes are given a lot of importance by the society and it’s an indication of the city’s pride.
No
one can think of a combination of a leather jacket with a lungi, but he did.
The lungi has checks print in it and the look has different colour combinations
in his attire over all. He wore the leather Jacket over the shirt, securing it
with pins was not his choice but the situation. The Saree which she was wearing
had tints and shades going from pink to blue; complementing it with golden bangles
and a nose pin which added a traditional look to it.
63
year old Rajasthani man wearing a classic attire with white kurta, dhoti,
bandhini pagadi (safa) on his head and wore mojadis(shoes) . The attitude which
he carries goes along with his style. His take on life:” Mandir todna , Masjid
todna lekin kisika dil ni todna.” (Break mosques or break temples but never break anyone’s heart.)
A
style is the answer to everything, when it’s the matter of style and principle,
stand like a rock. The person is selling dholaks, and is seen wearing a camouflage
print T-shirt and manages to grab eyes with his simple style.
